| In my case the previous owner had installed new OEM mounts, so I had in my possession the new round mushroom shaped steel inserts that go between the mount and the body. But if your old mounts are rotted and corroded then you will need new inserts because they do not come with this kit for some reason. The instructions call for these inserts. Big washers or no inserts at all might work on this 1" lift kit, because there won't be much flexing, and the poly material is a bit more rigid than OEM rubber. Aside from that, this is a good kit that went on fairly easy once I got the holes lined up. My tub was completely off the frame, but if you are just doing a straight replace, the instructions say do one side at a time so bolt hole alignment is maintained. Amazon had the best price on this by far, and free shipping. |
